SerNet offers students and teaching staff free access to verinice.cloud for courses at universities, colleges and other educational institutions. This requires a framework agreement between your educational institution and SerNet. The offer also applies to verinice.PARTNER with a valid partner agreement and an agreement on the use of verinice for evaluation and training.
verinice.edu is not intended for operational information security management within educational institutions.
What's included:
- the full version of verinice.cloud with a 1-user licence
- a term of 12 months
- all domains currently available in verinice
- all SerNet content for which no licence fees are payable to third parties and which may be distributed under a free content licence

Important: In accordance with the framework agreement with your institution, we do not offer a data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR for this version. Please do not process any data in this version that would require a DPA. Please note our Terms and Conditions and the provisions for free-of-charge services.
How to Shop
- Create an account in this portal. The part of your email address after the @ sign must consistently match your institution's internet domain.
- Subscribe to this edu version free of charge with a term of 12 months. Use your institution's voucher code, which reduces the price to 0 euros.
- Follow the instructions under 'How to get started'.

How to Get Started
- Activate the subscription by creating the main account for the application.
- You then start using this main account directly in the application: eu.verinice.cloud.
- There, the main account you created is verified by email before you can log in for the first time.

How to Terminate Your Subscription
- You do not need to cancel your access to this edu version or delete any data. We take care of this automatically.
- 30 days after the end of the 12-month usage period, all data you have entered will be deleted and then removed from our backups as quickly as technically possible.
